Baby On Board

I alluded to big "changes" coming in my last post, well these changes can best be reflected in the image below...

That's right, Jennafer is pregnant! It's been a very long road so far and it's still quite early; only nine weeks and six days as of today. We also know there are likely to be more challenges ahead but we're happy to be where we are right now and fortunate that we have each other.

An amazing little critter ain't it?

40!

No I'm not drinking a forty although it doesn't sounds like a horrible idea (does Chimay come in a 40 oz'er?).

This past Sunday I turned 40 years old and being who I am I'm just blogging about it now. I have left my 30's behind, not by choice but I'm feeling just fine about the move.

I can't believe how many important milestones I've crossed over the past year. A lot has changed for me recently but of course I feel exactly the same. More changes are coming (I'm not kidding *huge fat wink*) and life rolls on.

Santé!

Alex and I in the studio again

Last year Chris, Alex and I recorded the following jam that I like quite a bit. I'd called it Old Lies Come Home (mp3 - 01/10/07) and you can hear the original below.

Alex and I went to the studio last weekend and I started playing the riff, not quite the same but I think it makes for a good verse. Just need to come up with a chorus and of course the ever elusive lyrical content.

'tis what it 'tis...

Life (or the lack thereof) in digital

This past Christmas Jenn and I decide to avoid getting gifts for one another and instead to upgrade our digital life together. The result can be seen in the happy image below.

A big fat 46" LCD and on top of that a new Wii make it likely that we will never leave the house again. Just in time for the rains, woohoo!

Now a Married Man

I'm now a married man, actually Jennafer and I have now been married for 6 weeks as of today. As we often say with a grin - how'd that happen? Well I guess the answer is - kinda like this!

We went to Santa Rosa to spend Christmas Eve and Day with my wonderful new in-laws. Had a great time and ate way too much. These past few weeks with the holidays and the wedding have been a welcome vacation from the day to day. With the new year just a few days away I feel like we're heading back into the real world all too soon. Good news is that Jennafer and I are in this together... onward!

Getting Married Today!!!!

Wow, this is a big deal. I'm getting married today.

Jennafer and I just started to get a bit nervous yesterday but, tho still jittery, I think we are both feeling quite good today. The ceremony is going to be up in Santa Rosa at The VintnersInn not far from her parents house. We're going to be heading up there in about 2 1/2 hours from now.

Those friends and family that had to travel are all here now. I picked up my brother Chris and friend Bill yesterday and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone later today. I'm both calm and nervous over the whole thing at the same time.

I can't believe it, next post here and I'll be a married man. Heading into a new chapter in my life!

We're off to City Hall!

In about 1/2 hour Jennafer and I are off to City Hall to get our Marriage License...wow. I ain't never had one o'them before - weehoo! Maybe when we're there we can pop in and say hi to Gavin Newsom. Who knows? He just won re-election and he may be running around and whooping it up.

It's all a bit exciting on this gray San Francisco morning. We're both a bit rushed to head over to work too as she has a meeting at 9:30 and I have a customer issue to handle at 9:45.

Gotta go pick up the golden ticket!

Before - in the corridors of power

After - we're almost legal!
